Launch X431 PRO5 opens the era of innovative dual diagnostic modes (local diagnosis and SmartLink remote diagnosis). It not only inherits the powerful diagnostic strength of PRO series and comes with multiple advantages, such as wide vehicle model coverage, numerous special functions, strong diagnostic functions, accurate diagnostic data and more.

The hardware of X-431 PRO5 is greatly improved. It adopts the Android 9.0 system, a 8-core 1.8GHz processor and a 1920×1200 IPS HD display screen, providing 3GB RAM memory and  32GB ROM storage which ensures faster and more stable running. It also comes with a bracket, making it more convenient to use. The device is surrounded by a protective soft rubber sleeve, with strong resistance to fall.
The new version of PRO5 replaces the VCI from Smartbox 3.0 with Smartlink 2.0(new vci same as PAD VII). Super-remote service support is available(requires additional purchase of remote service).
